A Capella Group, Founder – Started an a capella group “Syncopation” from scratch, to popularise one of the oldest forms of music in India. Auditioned and recruited the initial group members, organising various performances, while actively raising funds for the education of underprivileged girl children.

Competed in multiple rounds at regional and national levels, making it to the world finals in Singapore with 68 best teams from all over the world and won the project management award sponsored by PMO, as team leader and design engineer, and coordinated all aspects of the project, ensuring sustainability of the project and design.

YRONS In Germany ( Young researchers of Natural sciences), Team Leader, 2023 This was a science conference with students from all around the world, where Samara’s team chose ‘sustainability’ as their theme and named their project ‘SRIJANA’, which means ‘Creation for the betterment of Mankind’
NASA SPACE SET A competition organised by NASA in which teams of 11 members competed to make a settlement on the moon using the RFP received. Owing to her contributions in the Human factors department, their team made it to the national round.
CSIR (Council of Scientific & Industrial Research) Competition A science competition held by the government of India in which Samara presented a project called ‘MedAir’, which helped transport medical equipment during disasters and medical crises.
DIDI (Dubai institute of design and innovation) A design competition from the Dubai institute in which they were given the task of making a product out of the cardboard that comes with Samsung TVs in a bid to encourage reuse and recycling.
IAYP International Award for Young People A non-competitive award for high school students by the Duke of Edinburgh, where Samara took part in one major activity and two minor activities for 6 months, covering extracurriculars, outdoor activities, and volunteering projects.
Amity Space Design (3rd place), 2022 A competition in which teams have to make their own space settlement on Mars.
